UVA Physicians Group seeks a Physician Assistant, Senior in Cardiac Surgery. The incumbent will prepare patients for surgery and function as a first or second assist in the operating room, perform open and endoscopic vein harvesting, and assist in the medical and surgical care of patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. Required Qualifications:Physician Assistant degree.Certification by NCCPA.Licensure or eligible for licensure as a Physician's Assistant in the state of Virginia.Minimum of one year experience working in a healthcare setting preferred.Experience working in a functional surgical department a plus.We are located in beautiful Charlottesville, VA within an hour of Richmond and two hours of Washington, DC.
